Tips about Outlook

Turn off Outlook alerts
If you’d like to turn off alerts that signify new incoming messages, open Outlook and go to Tools > Options > E-Mail Options > Advanced E-Mail Options. In the ‘When new items arrive in my Inbox’ section, deselect the checkboxes for the options you want to turn off. You can also go to Desktop Alert Settings and tweak those, if needed.

Work with Outlook messages quickly
You can use keyboard shortcuts for this. Press CTRL+SHIFT+M to compose a new message; CTRL+R to reply to a message; CTRL+F to forward a message and CTRL+D to delete it.

Navigate through Outlook quickly
You can use keyboard shortcuts to move to different parts of Outlook. To go to Mail, press CTRL+1; for Calendar, use CTRL+2; for Contacts, use CTRL+3; to go to Tasks, press CTRL+4; and for Notes, press CTRL+5.

Find related messages in Outlook quickly
To look for messages related to a particular message, right-click the message in the Inbox or other folders, point to Find All and click Related Messages.

Find all messages from a sender in Outlook
If you want to view all messages from a particular sender, right-click one message from that sender, point to Find All and click Messages from Sender.
